Welcome to the Academy
The Academy is a
High Performance Academic-Athletic accredited private preparatory school located in
Cornwall, Ontario. It is dedicated to providing boys
(Junior Prep, Major Midget AAA, Varsity Hockey) and
girls (Intermediate AA, Midget AA) with the very best in
academics along with elite hockey. Whether your goal is to play in the Olympics or to go to college, our
expert academic and athletic staff is committed to help you develop a
strong foundation which will be the springboard for your future success.
The Academy is designed for the student-athlete. We provide
daily on-ice hockey practices, off-ice training at our own
Athletic Republic Training Facility, an extensive game
schedule, and numerous scouting opportunities coupled with strong
college preparatory academics in an Ontario Ministry of Education degree
granting private high school. We offer an individualized college
counseling system to get you to the next step. But even more
importantly, it is our goal to have you succeed at the next level both in academics and
athletics.
Meet Dr. Tim Rozan -
Director of the Ontario Hockey Academy
Dr. Rozan comes to the Academy with an extremely
impressive background. He holds a B.A. from The Johns Hopkins
University, a Masters in Environmental Studies from Yale University, and a Doctorate in
Environmental Chemistry from Yale University. He was a National Science
Foundation Post-doctoral fellow in Marine Science at the University of
Delaware. He has taught and advised students at various universities in
both the U.S. and Canada. His specialization is teaching Chemistry,
Mathematics, Earth Sciences, Environmental Science, Geology, and Marine
Science. He has experience with college admissions, tutoring, remedial
education and is skilled in developing and implementing computer based
courses.

students need to know how to think, tackle problems, and express their
ideas. We specialize in utilizing 21st
technology to teach problem solving, critical thinking and time
management. Our college prep program is designed to provide a strong
academic foundation needed for a successful college career. It is our
mandate to prepare and place every one of our students in either a
Division I program or a superior academic Division III college. All we
require is a strong work ethic and perseverance from our student
