
Dr. Rothley comes to the
Academy with an extremely
impressive background. She holds a B.S. from M.I.T., a M. Eng. and M.B.A
from Cornell University, and a M.F.S. and Ph. D. from Yale University.
She taught and advised students for seven years at various universities in
both the U.S. and Canada. Her specialization is teaching Science,
Mathematics and Computer Programming.
Dr. Rothley's primary role is to ensure that
a high level of academic excellence is maintained at OHA. She is the liaison
between OHA and both Oklahoma University and the NCAA. Her responsibilities
include:
1) ensuring each student's academic program meets
Ontario's or Oklahoma University High School graduation requirements,
2) ensuring each student's academic program meets
NCAA eligibility requirements,
3) ensuring each student's academic performance is
maintained.
Dr. Rothley lives in Cornwall with her husband and three
children, Valeria, Louisa, and Kaylee and is writing a popular book on
environmental problems.
