The Ontario Hockey Academy is pleased to offer a program for elite middle school aged students. Like our high school program, students will take supervised computer based classes in English, Math, Social Studies, Science, and Reading.  However, unlike grades 9-12, the first semester at OHA is probationary. This period allows us to evaluate (with parent consultations) the benefits of our program for the younger student athlete. After this initial trial semester, successful students who maintain a 3.0 GPA are accepted as regular students and are guaranteed admission to the high school program.

Students are required to complete the following courses:

7^th Grade

     English 7a & 7b

     Introduction to computers

     Math 7a & 7b

     Science 7a & 7b

     Spelling

     World History 1 & 2

8^th Grade

     Applied Math 1 & 2

     English 8a & 8b

     Reading Comprehension 1 & 2

     Science 8a & 8b

     United States History 1 & 2
